Charity Christmas Celebration At Mossley Mill

Councillor Paul Hamill Hosts Community and Voluntary Christmas Celebration

Mossley Mill was awash with festive spirit as Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council hosted this year’s Community and Voluntary Christmas Celebration.

The Abbots Cross Presbyterian Church Choir captivated the guests at a drinks reception which was held in the Museum at The Mill, with their selection of Christmas melodies. Guests included the Lord Lieutenant of County Antrim, Mrs Joan Christie OBE.

Mayor, Councillor Paul Hamill; Mayoress, Mrs Ruth Hamill; Grace Hamill and Sarah Hamill are joined by Abbots Cross Presbyterian Church Choir

Over 140 guests attended the event which recognised the hard work that community and voluntary workers put in to making the Borough a place in which people want to work, live and invest.

The event raised £1000 for the Mayor’s nominated charities; NI Children’s Hospice, TinyLife and Sandes.
